I recently got a new bberry Tour (my old one had issues) and on my old phone i had my friend as a BBM contact. When i got my new phone the same friend and i tried to add her as a contact again and she accepted yet one both our BBM it says "Pending (waiting for Authorization)."
We have completely deleted each other out of our contact list and started from scratch and every time its the same thing.
I had this issue yesterday and it was a pain in the ***. What you have to do is log into your email you registered with your BBM. Do a search in your inbox for "bbm". It will show you a bunch of Blackberry Messenger e-mails. Delete them and then try to restore again and it should work. RIM needs to fix this issue ASAP.
