It's working Chrisy, I guess the delete and reinstall worked. Maybe it just needed to be deleted from "application management" and a fresh download......what's that convenience key all about, is that a 99xx thing??
Yes, you have to set the right convenience key to open BBM, them when you have BBM opened if you press the convenience key it will automatically start recording a voice note. When done press stop and then the options to play, send or cancel will appear.
Actually I went straight from the stock BBM to the beta without issue on the 9900 and 9930. You might want to give it a try. I have not seen any other reports in the beta threads of this.
Hmmmm, no offense but people like you are part of Rim problem, you offer complicated solutions to a simple problem. And recommending a Beta it's kind of an odd choice don't you think? If a non techy person reads this they'd be lost.
