    It shouldn't be. BBM 5.0 just came out and I don't think OS 5.0 is shipping on the Tour yet.

    yes.. im running vzw's official os release 4.7 and bbm 5.0.0.33

    You can download BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 onto OS 4.7. Just go to BlackBerry App Wold, go to category "IM", and it's in there. Make sure you back up your phone first and reboot after installation.
