i figure it has to do with different opacity levels, but i dont know how to automatically set that based on color tone?

Dear Ahmed,
I have seen the avatars you have made. I think they are awesome! I would like to know if you can make one for me? If you can't it's ok. I just wanted one with the Big Apple NYS in it. I would also love to learn how to make them myself so I don't have to ask anyone to make them for me...

Forget the Magic Wand . You can find it however by right-clicking on the quick selection tool.

Instead of the Magic Wand, use the Magic Eraser ;D

yeah i saved the picture and used it as my bbm picture and it didnt work.. others ahmed has made worked perfectly for me. however, the newer lions logo ones wont work.....
