Hey!

I have a 8520 from TMN (Portuguese carrier) and i'm trying to add a cousin of mine who has a 8900 in the USA. Don't know what carrier.

The thing is, i add him, he doesn't get my request, he did the same thing, adding my PIN and i didn't get his request, it just shows as pending confirmation and nothing happens.

Any ideas ?

I'd just keep on doing it the way you guys are doing it until it eventually adds
eachother. This is something that happens sometimes. Just gotta keep trying.

Both of you got BIS right?

If you don't have Blackberry Internet Service (or maybe BES/BESX if you are a business man) your 8520 won't access the servers and the requests will never reach destination, ora pois.

I have BIS on mine, my cousin works in Bank of Brazil in NY so he probably has BES.

Does your cousin have any other contacts on his BBM? It may be that his BES administrator has disabled BBM however if he has other contacts that won't be the case.

He's an IT Project Manager and i doubt he has BBM blocked. He's going to see if they are blocking international BBM contacts or something...

Can you 2 just send plain PIN messages to each other. Not using BBM, but just messaging.
