Yes, when you click on the sounds button the menu pops up. Go down to Set Ring Tones/Alerts. Click on Instant Messages. Then click on BBM Messenger Alert. And now you can change it to whatever you would like.
where is the "sounds" button located? i can only find the "sounds and ringtones" button under options and it only allows me to change my ringtone- nothing for sms, mms, pings, emails, etc. im trying to figure out how to disable the sound for pings and customize the vibration length if thats possible
