Just bought a 7230 for use as spare, anyone still have the jar/jad file for it?
The blackberry.com/messenger site no longer support OTA for older OS.

    Many thanks.

Thanks a lot for helping man. But sadly i can't install it, it says error 907 invalid jar. I'm guessing version 5 is still too new for this ancient phone. hahaha.

It was a jad, but here's a zip of everything:

I'll hunt around for a 4.5 if that doesn't work.

Tried and failed again. Tried using appleader and bbsak, both failed. bbsak tells me "installed successfully, but it doesn't appear on the device. hahaha. i think the 7230 would need like v1.0 of BBM.

found this while searching for bbm.

but of course the link they provide is from RIM, which they have already stopped supported ancient devices below OS 4.5.

hahahaha. Still doesn't work. v4.5 is still too new. I've officially given up. I think we have to go way back like BBM v1.0 or something, which i think is impossible to find already. hahaha. thanks a lot for your help man!

unfortunately as far as i know RIM only started to bundle BBM into the OS starting from 4.2. The lastest OS for this 7230 is 4.0. hahaha.

Alright, manage to use bbsak to install the cod files. But sadly, still no app. Tried to package it as a jad, managed to install. Shows up in my installed files on my phone, but still no app. I'm giving up. haha.
