BBM Notification not going away!

hey

my problem is that i have a bbm notification stuck on my screen

things that i have done

- turn on/off phone
- deleted all my msg's and chats over and over again

those options did nothing

i was thinking of uninstalling bbm

would that work?
any other help?

Battery pull? Try that yet. Don't turn phone off, just pull battery out and replace it after about 30 secs.
