I'm having a problem with my BBM home screen/status bar notification icon. Since I upgraded to the latest version of BBM via an over-the-air download, all functionality seems to be working fine, except that my status bar new BBM notification (at the top of my home screen) doesn't show up when I get a new message. I still get an asterisk on my BBM program icon, but nothing at the top of my screen to indicate a new message.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I've looked through BBM options/settings and can't find anything. I would GREATLY appreciate any advice.
No, I haven't installed any themes. I may have switched from one of the pre-loaded ones to another, but I don't know if that's the same as "installing" a new one. I did try to switch to a different theme and still didn't see the notification icon.
