Hi, iv smashed the screen on my 9700, while i wait for a replacement im going to use my brothers 8520.

Is it possible for me to transfer my contacts over, yes i have back ups.
If i did that would it all be trasnfered automatically or would people have to accept me again?

Your contacts will transfer over to your replacement phone.

you then message them through BBM and it will tell you to send an invitation again (i think)

Can i back up the contactcs already on the 8520.
Then load my backup froma 9700 on to the 8520, use that for perhaps a week.
And then put the 8520 backup back on it, will the contacts come back?

Yep. So long as you have back up files the contacts (along with everything else currently on the 8520) can be fully restored once you're finished using it.
