I just got my blackberry today and its from tmobile..its unlocked and im using at&t as the carrier. I had an iphone so i definitely have the data plan. However, when i go to use bbm or email they will not work. what could be the problem/fix?

You have a data plan, but do you have a BlackBerry data plan? While it may be the same thing in many peoples eyes, the BlackBerry plan will give data to your PIN which will allow these features to work properly.

Yep. You need to call AT&T and change your data plan to a BlackBerry Data Plan. And iPhone Data Plan will not work.
