BBM Chat History issue

I am having a bizarre BBM Chat History issue. Today I tried to go into my chat history from 2 weeks ago to pull a phone #. For this one specific contact, the only chat histories available were from a couple weeks in August, and nothing for all of September. I tried checking all of my other contacts, and all of them had histories up to today. I tried to update BBM, and that did not help. Even more bizarrely, if I change saving the history to the device, this one particular contact will be able to save current history. Otherwise, even if I chat with him today and close it, the history won't show up - it still ends in August. My last-ditch effort is to delete him and re-add him, which I am trying now but is anyone else familiar with this issue?

Just an update - deleting and re-adding the contact did not help. I am also using 6.0, but the BBM version I am using is the same one that is in appworld.

Me too with the same issue..The contact with which I am chatting very often.. it's history lasts for only one day..:(
