BBM cant add contact

When I upgraded to BBM 5.0 I started to unable to add people who also has BBM 5.0. If the other party has older BBM, it works! I have the latest BBM version as well.

When i send the invitation, the other party will receive it and after accepting it. my name will go under Pending on his BBM while his name is also still in Pending on my BBM. If he send me the invitation, i get no request.

I had this prob for a long time already so I did like pull out battery trick and stuff. Any suggestion or anyone has the same prob?
