I just got a new BlackBerry with OS 7 and the new BBM, and it seems that broadcasts come up as black instead of purple now, which is quite confusing.

Is there any way to fix this? I can't find anything in the settings and I found a bunch of other people having the same problem but no answers when I googled.

Why? It makes it impossible to distinguish between a broadcast and a message sent just to you, it's irritating.

Either way, RIM should fix this bug or, if it was intentional, they should include a setting to change it back to purple.

i havn't had this issue? i know that if i mass messaged then it will be in purple...
