Will someone with a BB still receive a BBM if:

1.) they turn their BB off, will it be there when they turn it back on?
2.) their battery dies before they checked it?
3.) they had no reception when the message was sent to them?

    Thanks.

    1. they will not receive it when it is off, you might see the check mark on your end that it was sent, but no D for (Delivered). (second part of question), yes they will receive it when they turn it back on.

    2. if the battery dies before they checked it, they might receive you would know because you saw a D on your check mark, but if you do not see a R, that means they did not check it (or they looked but didn't scroll the trackball or anything to let it send back a response that it was read. (ok im getting a little too much into it here)

    3. If they had no reception you will see the check mark followed by no D or R until they get reception once the message is delivered to them you will see a D at your end for delivered.

hope I answered your questions in a way you will understand them.. im kind of bad at that lol.

99% of the time they will get it when they power the phone back on or come back into service. As long as when you send it you get the check mark indicating that the message is sitting on the server. The little D that appears in the check mark means the message it sitting on the phone. If there is a little R in the check mark then the message has been read.

and if you continuously see a ))) instead of a check, that means the sending failed on your end. the check mark implies it was recieved on RIMS servers and is being/will be forwarded out to the proper handset.
