How can I find what my barcode is on my BBM for Blackberry Tour. Also, when is there going to be a software upgrade for the Verizon Tour?

I don't have that option. Do I need to upgrade my BBM? I can't highlight my name...

What version of BBM do you have?

You can go to BlackBerry App World to download the latest version that supports bar codes.

Got it. It was 4.7 downloading the newest one now...When will a full OS upgrade be available?

Glad you found it.

As to an official OS upgrade from VZW for 9630, we can only speculate. Check out the threads i posted above, as well and others discussing OS updates for the Tour. You can always load a leaked/beta/hybrid OS, though i'd only recommend that if your feel comfortable with your device as it is possible to brick (erase all data and render useless) your BlackBerry. You can recover a bricked BlackBerry but it takes some time and know how.

Once you download BBM 5 you will the options already explained.

No one knows when OS5 will be out. Just watch this site I'm sure you won't be able to miss when it happens.
