I was told we can take out all the foreign languages in our blackberry messenger and that will free up about 3mb of space. Can anyone explain to me the steps to do this please?
The OP is asking about BlackBerry Messenger, not the BlackBerry device OS software that is maintained by BlackBerry Desktop Software.
The size of the new BlackBerry Messenger makes it impractical to use on my 64 Mb Pearl without removing core OS components. If it were a simple matter of deleting additional language packages, there would be an Option to do that.
I believe that Wargears was advised to download BBM directly from the BlackBerry website rather than via BlackBerry App World in order to avoid all the extraneous language files.

First off, thank you all for the reply. I deleted the BBM I downloaded from app world and installed from the link you posted for me and it gave me my BBM back and it was 3MB smaller. .

Shortly after I posted this, I realized the new BBM is only 500 kb bigger then the previous version, after it is installed. The simple solution was to remove the previous version, then do the install.
