    So I finally just upgraded to the newest BBM and ever since I've been having problems.

    I can't receive messages until I send out another message.. For example I won't get anything, send out a message to a contact, and then right away get 4 messages that have been waiting to get delivered to me. I've tried a battery pull and still no help. Anyone have any ideas?

    try deleting it and reinstalling the application

    Have you tried wiping the device? I have had no problems with the .56 bbm. Before you wipe make sure to backup everything on desktop manager

    Caused problems with my recv'd sms's not being shown in the list. "Downgraded" to .54 & all is fine now. check out BBHybrids - Blackberry Hybrids for the files if you want to drop down also.

    Mine is still buggered. I've tried deleting and reinstalling. I just did a wipe and put 405 on it with bbm .56 and still having the same problem.

    spyderblue, you re-installed the .56 version, or downgraded to .54?

    cant stand it anymore, i'm just going to downgrade back to .33

    where did you get .33? when i got fed up i only had an old 4. something version to drop down to.

    Even after the .57 update it's still not working right! I guess time to try .54, and if still having problems then back to .33

    Couldn't find an active link to .33, but even after the RIM outage I'm still having this problem.

    I've noticed it's not just BBM, it is all data. Nothing will come through to me unless I initiate data. If I send out an email, send out a BBM message, or even load a webpage all my emails/bbms come through.

    Anyone have any ideas?
