I had to upgrade my Pearl to the 4.5.0.160 OS in order to get BBM5 working properly. Works great though.

Is there an OTA for it? I just upgraded to 4.5.0.138 via blackberry site and I'm still seeing memory loss - it went from 15,200,000 to 13,900,164 in a few minutes and thats after deleting a bunch of texts and emails.

Has anyone else seen a big memory leak in V4.5.0.138? When I do a battery pull it starts out around 16,000,000 - 17,000,000 then drops to around 10,900,000 in a short amount of time. Apps I have installed are: WeatherEye, Slacker, Score Mobile and Bolt. I would upgrade OS to V4.5.0.160 but I don't wanna deal with the "chirp" people are talking about when they are on a call.

Your memory dropping by that amount is not unusual. Have you removed all that you can from it? There's old school:

And within that thread is also the link to CrackMem, which does almost everything you can do, through the click of your mouse.

Yeah, I've done most of that already. I thought upgrading from .77 would have fixed it.

It's not leaking, it's being used and cached. Just like it would on your PC. Reboot, check your file free, open your media, and open your pictures up, look again at your memory, and you will see a big drop, however you will also access your pictures much faster the next time.
