I had a curve with 5.0 and then got a tour on my wifes line and switched with her. I added 5.0 to the tour and now I keep getting her name changing to mine and getting her contacts adding to mine. I've deleted her and added again and it keeps doing it. I added 5.0 just before the .53 software so I don't know if its 5.0 or the .53. Thanks

Do you share an email account and do you both have it set up on the devices? Could be that since bbm 5 links accounts to email addresses and stores information on server

Did you save your contacts to the phone? When I went to the Tour, I noticed that bbm5 imported all my contacts off my card from my Curve. Some were outdated so I had to delete the backup and start over.
Im having trouble adding contacts to my BBM. I tried adding someone by putting in there PIN but it keeps taking it as an email every time. I cant get around it. Anyone know why this might be happening or how I can solve this issue. I understand it links the emails, but when it gives me the option to select PIN instead of Email, it still doesnt accept it.
i had a similar problem with my wife's phone awhile back. We were using the same computer to sync our phones. I was told by the Verizon Rep we should use seperate computers, after I did that I never had a problem. Give that a shot
