I have a 8130 and was wondering how do I find and add the new BBM 5.0. I can not do it OTA since I am not on a plan and unable to go online.. So is it possible to add it through Bb desktop manger.

If you can find a link available I'm think you can get the desktop manager version .. You need to update your BB to atleast version .131 or higher before hand .. In the how to section there is guides I'm on my phone hopefully someone can post link bbm 5 and the how to

Is there a big difference? like is it good? What differences will I notice?

I used to run .138 its an all Tel I believe.. Longer battery and more memory were the first things I noticed.. You'll have to delete the vendor files though which is also under the how to of doing upgrade
