Hello everyone! I was just wondering. Have any of you upgraded to BBM 5.0 through Desktop Manager in the last few days? Is BBM 5.0.0.8 official on T-Mobile? I'm asking because I happen to plug my BB to transfer some pictures and it said that there was an upgrade to BBM so I downloaded BBM 5.0.0.8 to my phone. I know many of you have done it OTA but that's not how I did it. This was a separate download through DM. So I'm a bit confused here.

I plugged my 8900 in to see and wasn't given that update option.....no 5.0 for me yet! I'm gonna wait until I can upgrade though desktop manager so I don't screw things up! hahaha

I went last night and found it on my tmo 8320, seems to be working ok

bbm 5.0 is working fine as well on my bb. however it takes a lil bit longer to answer any incoming calls

I am loving BBM 5.0 but had some problems trying to help a friend update it messed her bb up I felt so bad but helped her get it back to working. I upgraded ota with no problem.

I got it, it worked OK for the first day then the second day, everyone's display names went back to normal, avatar pics went away so i don't know what happened. did a software wipe, re-installed bbm 5.0.0.8 and still the same issue.

I'm not sure but if the other party doesn't have BBM5, it won't show their avatar/picture. Maybe someone else can shed light on this matter. Mine seems to be working okay from what I see. I'm running OS 4.5.0.81.

They have 5.0, i saw their pic before and they had a quote or whatever you want to call it, but now its gone, other than that messages come and go just fine
