BBM 5.0.0.57 use more battery then previous versions?

Sup guys, just asking a curious question (did search) before 5.0.057 I never had a problem with battery life, after I'm noticing my battery draining faster. I'm part of 1 active group on bbm but when I was using 5.0.033 my battery never dipped that low that fast, today I unpluged my phone from the wall and only had 1 4min phone call and I go grab my phone to see 1 bar and a half gone, that never happened to me, battery life was the 1 awesome thing about the 9700. Anyone haveing this problems or have any suggestions?

hey does anyone kno if u have to have the 5.0 OS to have the feature show wat songs i am listening too.. i hvae 4.5 OS and i dont have that feature in BBM 5.0.0.57

it seems like for me bbm has a memory leak. If I leave it open, my memory drops crazy
