just updated OS to 5.0.0.405 today as well as updated BBM ver to .57
some of my contacts' pictures are grey and when i select menu, "send PIN update" is there
i send the update but nothing happens
i've even restored from a backup but that didn't help either

anyone else experiencing this?

it may take time for this PIN update to go through. i had the same issue when i upgraded to .405 and did the DM switch wizard from my 8900. my whole list carried over, but some contacts were dimmed out and basically the update didnt work for them. i sent the pin update a few times for each person. some went through immediately, some didnt. i think it may require the other person to re-accept you. so if they arent there to acknowledge it, that may be why its not going through.
