Everytime I close BB messenger or my phone goes into lock mode, my current conversations close. I'm not sure if I'm missing messages because of this, but it's annoying! Any ideas why this would be happening?

I have bbm version 4.5.0
and
OS 4.5.0.110

I don't see how that can help...I'm always cleaning up my texts and messages and this is a new problem.
