Alright...used WinMerge and the number of COD files and names were identical between the two shrunken versions of 723 and 749. I then reinstalled the APT files over the shruken 749 base OS.

I get the following error on opening the browser:

"Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider." I then click the OK button and the message closes.

That's it...this hybrid does not seem to like my 9700. Rolling back to Aikido and staying there. Thanks for the help offered, WuWei.

Have u signed in to bbid.. I had a similar issue with 9780. Used wifi and restart all good.

I have not...i do not install Appworld or BBID on my 9700. I have all the apps i need and have no more use for Appworld.

I have never had to install or sign into BBID to use wifi and browser on any other OS/Hybrid, and am currently rolled back to Aikido and its working smooth as a baby's bottom.

Will you be upgrading to the Z10? We here in India are eagerly awaiting its launch. Though with a mixed bag of reviews its gonna be a close call in a price sensitive market like India.

Though if we get the Developer Ferraris... RIMs gonna be falling short on the supply. Super Sexy.

Flat-out amazed. None of the other builds beyond Aikido worked well on my 9700, but this one, maybe because of .749 has finally done it. Some minor bugs (tray highlighting a bit wonky and camera occasionally does not work) but it may be phone-specific. The memory leak is extremely well contained in this build, I have space for more apps than ever. Drop to 0 from 30% battery life bug still in effect (probably resolved somewhere, but I never bothered to fix it because I always have a car charger and vehicle handy). But at this rate I can hold onto this phone until my carrier update to BB10 later this year. Thanks again!

I don't think it was on the original .749 OS from T-Mobile, correct me if I'm wrong. I didn't see it as an option when loading the OS anyway

i found a bug wuwie...!!! tethering is not working. whenevr i try to connect my torch to pc/laptop through desltop manager to connect to internet. everytime it says faild to connect. something is wrong with it.

I installed Apt over 749 for 9780 and the only problem I've had is opening the browser: Uncaught exception: OlympiaRenderingEngineFactory not initialized. Any insight into this error? Thanks.
