My Max ADR was 8-9% an hour with fully chatting, browsing, Facebook, all the time. And my Min ADR was 0.6% doing nothing. I did reset discharge rate to checked both result.
Browser : as good as AKimbo. No need extra browser any more.
Media : very fast and the pictures quality seem better.
Bug : Only a bug I found, couldn't compose pin message. But I've never used it anyway. HaHaHa

Thanks again Mr. Wu your best Hybrid.

I use base OS 6.0.0.461? instead of 6.0.0.723 for my 9700?
I still want to use 6.0.0.461 for breaking of network drop syndrome, but I also want to try your hybrid for battery improvement.
    Thanks for reply.

so, the conclusion is, the reading of tiny meter is not accurate..? or maybe the battery pull 'cause it to misread? anyway, thank you for you response.
It's not a matter of TinyMeter being inaccurate, but the opposite. TinyMeter is incredibly accurate. If, over the course of it's polling period (I believe 10 minutes), your battery drops 10%, then TinyMeter would report a very high ADR. The highest ADR it encounters during the entire logging period is reported as the maximum. Same is true for minimum ADR. All that really matters is the Average Discharge Rate. And I've bounced back and forth between MeterBerry, TinyMeter, and AOSL and I rarely see the same figures reported across those apps.

    If i use it on EDGE, i got a 4.1% discharge per hour. But if I use it on 3G, I got a 8.1%. Why wu it's having a low % of discharge? I'm using a 9780.
In my experience, 3G idles much more efficiently than EDGE (0.2% v. 0.9% or more). However, 3G being actively used, especially for voice calls, will hammer your battery a lot harder. Makes sense if you think about the differences in the technologies: EDGE is one communication channel (data OR talk, no emails will be delivered during a call, can't browse during a call); 3G is two communication channels to allow simultaneous data and voice calls. Active use of a 3G connection will always require more battery power than a 2G connection. But the idle rates are different - I don't know why, but 3G is much more efficient when there's no traffic.

Nothing wrong with expressing oneself, in my opinion. Most days I'm pretty mellow and I roll with the punches. But on my "off" days, I have a very short fuse and I can be really pissy about the littlest things.

I'm not sure what is causing those issues - I haven't heard any similar reports from other 9800 users. If it is a data cap issue, then I'd say that's down to your usage and nothing within my hybrid. My goal is always efficiency - finding a balance between the best battery life and the smoothest OS. The OS won't be super fast, because that requires more battery usage. And the battery won't last forever, because that would mean a dog of a device. So I seek that middle ground, with a preference for battery life. Sometimes I hit it, sometimes not. But we all love trying to find that "just right" combination for our devices...that's what keeps me going.

This build will not work over 6.0.0.461 base OS. There have been too many changes in the SFI since 461, and this build is designed for the newer base OS versions.

    Hey!

    Tks for the reply!

I appreciate your work, really, and as you could see, when i ranted, i also asked some fair questions with some possible solutions for my problems!

Something wierd was going on, making the apps not beeing able to download/upload data from the server.

I only brought up the data plan because i only have like 10mb left when this issue started... Don't know if its related,of course.

Good job, and i hope i'm the only case!

For unknown number in TinyMeter/MeterBerry, open Phone application, go to Options, Call Logs and Lists, scroll down and uncheck Show "My Number".
