What apps do you have installed? Personally I noticed a HUGE increase in boot time as soon as I installed BlackBerry Travel, and deleting the app made no difference. The only resolution was a new OS installation and selective database restore.
Yeah, I noticed that some apps will slow down boot time. That's why I don't have Bb Travel. I've installed latest BBM, beta version of Facebook and Twitter, Wikitude, MOLOME and Whatsapp. Before install those and after installed it, it's all the same in boot time lenght
You only shrink apps that you don't use like languages other than your mother tongue. Otherwise why shrink them if you will reinstall again?
If you were referring to my example in the post, it was meant to prove you that shrinking apps if size is significant - will speed up boot time. Hope I understood your question.
Damn!!!...this aikido is badass...I just shrunk my os, and I reinstalled my base os .719 with aikido....my boot time has totally reduced...1.30seconds...plus improved battery life....that has never happened before on my 9650...this build is nice...thnks once again wu

Performance on my phone has dropped severely after about a few weeks of use....
In what way?
I ran Aikido from 20 August at 6:30 pm (when I first built it) until 1:00 am this morning and had outstanding performance the entire time. And by the way, this build has only been available since 23 August.
B@stard Aikido is pretty solid here in this Kepler specially in terms of ADR that unless the new build is better, I would stick with this one!
Just for info, device completely settled after 4 days, ADR with mobile net set at 3G was: -1.8% day 1, -2.8% day 2, -4% day 3 & -3.8% day 4 onwards with normal use. Idle ADR (while in bed for 5 hours) with 3 push mail accounts, facebook notifications & text messages in the background is a mere -0.8%.
Heavy use today with mix phone calls, BBM, email reading & replying, texting, 3 hours headset bluetooth paired, WiFi usage & a couple of phone calls & the remaining battery charge is still at 51% after 23 hours. Although I'm set at 2G, but .723 SFI is giving me EDGE most of the time.
ADR with mobile net set at 3G is -2.8% to -3.8% but, I don't feel the need for this setting as I can avail of WiFi if I need to browse or BB Messaging. Still, I can stay for an average of 18 - 20 hrs daily use.

Sorry for getting the dates mixed up, felt like have been using it for awhile now. I can see your next one would be AJ, looking forward to it already.
No idea, it just feels like the battery runs out quicker after awhile. Perhaps it could be my apps as well.
On TinyMeter
Minimum : -0.1%
Maximum : -254.6%
Average : -9.2%
Free Memory : 13.9MB
Since Startup : -9.4MB
Time Since startup : 2hr10m
Don't know if this is normal or not. Not complaining about the build, it could be my phone or batt. Just thought i mentioned. Appreciating your work man!
Yep...and my new build is already available to my team.

We've been testing a new build using files from 7.1.0.658. A few testers have noticed some VERY slight checkerboarding when browsing, and we have tried a few different blends to address that issue.
However, we all agree that Aikido has the best memory management we've seen in a long time. Ajiva (the current test build) is not handling memory nearly as well as Aikido does.
So, for the time being Ajiva will not be released. I see no reason to publish a build that does not improve on the previous one. I am hopeful that we'll have some new resources to build with soon.
