Does anyone notice on their BB 9700 (post .405 update) that if they receive/send SMS's to a contact via. a number with different formatting, the SMS thread breaks?

I have like 2 threaded SMS's for the same contact, and the reason is because of the formatting... the name bug is fixed though.

    eg. +4161234567

    vs.

    (416) 123-4567

The end result is that it shows up on my Blackberry SMS list like this:

    ----------------------
    Hi... blah blah
First Name Last Name (Mobile) >> "show recipient" # is +4161234567
    ----------------------
    Hey... blah blah
First Name Last Name (Mobile) >> "show recipient" # is (416) 123-4567
    ----------------------

..sigh, this wasn't present in the .405 firmware. The reason why I have different formatting is from previous backups where I formatted the numbers differently.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Either update your OS to .423 where that bug is fixed...
or reformat your contact numbers in a sensible fashion

Also .405 is neither a beta/leaked or hybrid OS, so why post in here?

Whoops, didn't know! .423 freezes my phone when I turn on WiFi for some reason... my 9700 has tons of quirks...

I'm on .421 right now... close enough to 423, and everything works so far

I just reformatted all my numbers, will take a look.. and nope, didn't work... damn.
