My BB 9930 won't load all the way. It was fine this a.m., but then, all of a sudden, it won't load up! I haven't ever had to hit "repair" before (in the desktop software). What does that do, exactly? Does it wipe everything? Or just fix whatever is stopping it from loading past about 3/4 way? And, If that doesn't fix the problem, can someone get it unstuck? Sorry to ask, but I didn't find an answer to my question by searching.

You didn't specify. So did you do a battery pull?

Also plug it into your computer after a battery pull and just wait. Put the sim chip somewhere else for a while as you wait, but just wait while your blackberry is plugged in to see if that fixes it.

of course BlackberryMalaysia is right. the restore WILL fix the problem by WIPING your device.

Might as well update it to the latest OS if you do that.
