OS 7.1.0.523 has 2468 cods and with this hybrid we'll replace 2388 of them with 7.1.0.536 cods. Only 80 of them will be from OS 7.1.0.523 and indeed radio file (.sfi)
After shrunk I loaded 539 cods to my 9900 and only 8 of them from OS 7.1.0.523 which are listed below:
Instructions:
1) Download and install Official OS 7.1.0.523: from AIS Thailand or from any operator.
I have installed your OS build -performance is great and smoother. Too early to tell about battery life.
Just a question:
1. How do I restore the by predictive (auto) text feature -under options, Typing & Language, Typing, I click set assistive input by keyboard the option flashes on and then off. I can't enter. Please advise?

Thanks in advance for your help!
As I know there's 3rd party app to backup them and Desktop Manager not able to backup these settings. Not using it so that's all I can say about.

Hope you fixed it as I explained on twitter.
You should put net_rim_bb_memo_app.cod from removed files to java folder and run loader.exe again. That is shrink problem.
RRoyy - You could take the latest 569 files from the 9810 and replace all the 536 files. I did so on my 9930 .. The device is up and running, Will let the pro's report on how good those files are compared with the 536 set
Well looking at RROYY post just keep those 8 files in the java folder and all other files can be replaced with the newer 569 files. I don't know if these files are any better than what the 536 files offers but we can test. Just the JAVA folder from the 569 files and place them in your 9900 or 9930 Java folder. good luck I will let the experts provide a 569 replacement if they think it is any good

Thnx uroojs! It worked perfectly! Got my java shrunk down to 100mb with only 8 cods from 523 and 538 cods from 569. Seems that memory is good. Will have to test now. cheers
Memory sitting at 308.9/343.4. Application storage free space 182.1 MB.

@Uroojs I did the same thing as you by taking the 563 java cods and swapped them with the ones on 523 instead and everything seems to be running normal..
Does anyone know if I can do this java folder swap on a 9860?? I'm bored lol. But not bored enough to end up with errors and have to reload .523 on my phone.....
am using windows 7, I followed rroyy's steps but Loader didn't recognize my device, DM didn't show any update option, i then clicked on Update option and it gve me other version, when i clicked on the same 7.1.0.523 it continued an finally am stuck with the same old 7.1.0.523.
(Am assuming it downloaded the cod files i replaced)

Please let me know if you have any mic issues running the hybrid OS. I'm running .569 and I am having issues where folks can't hear me on outgoing and incoming calls.
Please let me know if you have any mic issues running the hybrid OS. I'm running .569 and I am having issues where folks can't hear me on outgoing and incoming calls.
The mic issue will be present in this mix as it uses .523 radio file.
The only OS7.1 builds without this problem for AT&T users are .74 .190 .205 .267 .284 .342 .391 and .437
Any higher OS, or hybrid mix using the radio file from anything higher, will still have the mic issue.
