I was wondering if any one thought about swapping out the the 8330 os 5.0 radio with the 8530 and seeing if it will load on the 8330m. I know it most likely won't but I thought I would ask!

I've never seen an .sfi from one device work on another device. Normally you can swap out MOST of the java cods but as far as I know sfi's (radios) are specific to a device.
