You could ask at bbhybrids.net, but if you hit alt + right shift + H key you should see:
app version: 5.0.0.351(554)
And .238 is correct for options > about
The about screen will read .238. If you do a alt+shift+h it should show app version 5.0.0.351 (554)

yea i didn't think to check after i loaded v7.11 either but mine says 5.0.0.238 under options-about and 5.0.0.351(554) as well, cool :)
oh and one other thing, hows ur battery life? initially after the hybrid install it seemed like it would be on forever but now im noticing that its using more batt life than maybe it did at first right after i installed it.. maybe it'll get better in a few days
Life will get substantially better after the phone normalizes and goes through it's paces. Don't forget to give it a couple battery pulls.

I am not sure on battery life, i just installed it this morning from another hybrid. 7.9 i believe. seemed awesome, out of town at the moment, battery went almost 5 days w/o a charge, couple short phone calls and lots of bbm/messages/Emails. Still have to see about 7.11.
Thank you all for the reply. I looked around a short while even on bbhybrids.net and didnt see it. so i figured i would ask here since everyone is so helpful. I just hate to go to other sites when i like this one, and everyone hangs out at all sites.
i apologize for asking, just running out the door and figured the email response i got would help me on the go. Plus I ALWAYS have CB's forum site up. It was convenient for me, sorry to inconvenience everyone...
Hey i have had my .238 for a week and i have gone through the battery pulls and yea my battery life is garbage now, it amazes me how .230 had excellent life and then as soon as i put this on it decreases, there must be sumthin running in the back that we cant see or exit from because im pretty sure everybody has had shorter battery life since the upgrade.
P.S. plz no replies sayin my battery is defective because thats crap it was fine 4 days ago or that your gettin 5 days talktime from your .238 build because u know u lying.
I am not saying your battery is defective. but I did get almost 5 days usage out of the stock battery. I didnt use it much but to do a little surfing and minimal phone time. depending on how you use your phone (and how much) I see no reason why that would not be possible. in fact i know it is.
WOW!!! To be getting 5 days of battery life is simply AMAZING! I don't even think the stock battery has 5 days of stand-by time in it.
How long does it stay charged with normal usage? Or even high usage?
A little off topic. Usually while working i use Pandora or Slacker for about 7 hours. BBM and Email slightly. and surf a little and i have 55% when i get home. I have noticed that playing media on speakerphone drains it faster. and playing mp3's drains it less than streaming. But I like the selection. lol
GPS on, Screen 10, 1xEV only.
According to Phonescoop.com
Battery Talk: 5 hours max. (300 minutes)
Standby: 336 hours max. (14 days)
1400 mAh LiIon
So 5 days with minimal usage isn't too off key anyways. I close apps and battery pull a least daily.
Everybody has different experiences when comparing battery life as a major determining factor is service in your area. Simply put, if you phone is constantly being stressed to find a signal, it's going to burn through a battery much quicker.
With that being said, the unstable radio can be attributed to the .230 radio stack. This is completely independent of the hybrid or any other build you may be using. repeat: this would be the same whether you were using the base leaked .230 or the hybrid build. You problem may lie in some other app you are running in the background.
Other small things that can improve battery life: habing your network set to 1XEV instead of global, updating your PRL, lowering your backlight, also how soon your phone dims, turning of bluetooth and gps when you're not using it.
Outside of these things, your battery life will be determined by signal and usage. After any major install or upgrade your phone should be given a few days and a couple battery pulls to normalize. Expect sporadic response for the first couple hours especially.
That's right, I forgot the specs. Still, I'm amazed at 5 days with minimal usage. Actually, I think I'm just amazed that someone with a blackberry can minimally use their phone lol.
Ohh its hard lol, but I didnt feel like charging it. Plus I wanted to see how long I could stress it.
I have had my Tour for a while and ran a few different OS. I havent noticed too many issues with battery life between the versions...
I have 2 batteries that i use. My original battery from 2 months ago. and my new battery that i got with my Replacement VZW sent me. I have noticed it takes a week or longer to get your battery life up there. but I at least doubles from new...
I agree, the batteries take time to "break in"
I hate when tons of new berry users come in here and complain about their battery....it's frustrating lol
Ok willy im gonna trust that it will stabilize and be ever so strong and stable as .230 was for me haha. but i am so thinking about downgrading lol. *crosses fingers*
Nah im not that new i just dont post that much i read alot of whats here and let that guide me, i wanted some opinions from others who have the same hybrid on their battery life since they have upgraded, im not complaining and my battery dont need breaking in ive had it for months now and it was chillin the other day like i said in a earlier post.
Calm down buddy. I wasn't even talking about you, I was referring to the noobs on the site in general. lol, thanks for the laugh though.
I won't be offended if you downgrade. I didn't create this hybrid or write the book on hybrids by any means. Just wanted to explain that the radio files are no different from straight .230 to any hybrid running that base. That's a rule of thumb to always remember. Hence, you rarely see i difference in radio stability through hybrids on the same base. (although its not unheard of. Berrys act real funny sometimes. I'm starting to think they have a mind of their own)
More than likely battery drain is due to the configs on an application or that the user happens to be in a bad signal area frequently (ie basement, etc). Best of luck to you, I hope your phone works itself out.
I have experienced the same thing. The first few days on v7.11 my phone lasted forever..I actually went 40 hours between charges twice. And now all of a sudden I charged this morning, have not used the phone much, and I am at 40% battery life. Does not make sense..I used it more both times I went 40 hours between charges. I called Sprint a few days ago to update my PRL, I just checked my version though and it says 0. How can my PRL version be 0? Maybe this some how changed and is effecting my battery life?
eh, I doubt your PRL is affecting battery life, but read my "how to" on updating PRL with OS 5.0. I just made it today, so it shouldn't be hard to find.
I don't understand this thing about letting the OS "normalize" after an install. Please explain the specifics, as it doesn't seem obvious why that would be true.
My bat life is always normal due to the fact that I'm a heavy abuser's so yeah. I've had no issues with my prl too by the way! :D
