I just wish ATT would finally release the official 7.1 upgrade. Too many issues with the leaked versions. I'm still on 7.0 (1355) because it has zero problems and is vertually (no pun intended) no headaches with battery issues or downloads, etc. Why fix something if it isn't broken (coming from a "I got to have the newest and best now!) person.
I wouldn't wait for AT&T, install 7.1.0.258 NOW! There is no reason to wait for ATT to figure out how they can block and or charge us for added features I have been using for over a month such as Media File Sharing (DLNA) and Wireless Hotspot ( Still works WITHOUT $50 tethering plan).
The OS is as stable as any 7.0 release I used and the battery life is the best I have experienced with this device. There are no more issues with .258 than there have been in almost any "Official" release for any Blackberry device. the knit-pickers will stand out more simply because they are more willing to complain.
RIM more or less gets free feedback from just looking at the cb forums... Members have all different bb handsets on here means all Os versions are used and feedback is given whether it be good or bad...

Again, no. What you need to understand is there are almost an infinite amount of ways to make a bug occur. Having random users say, hypothetically, yeah my bbm drained more battery today... OK so where do you go with that? There is never true detailed information on how you had that issue.
Needle in a haystack anyone?
Anyway, as said before hopefully got a new standard coming in for leaks. Watch this space

OK I just mean in general... Anyway I'm sure RIM can use some of the stuff we say to improve... I find it hard to believe everything here is useless...

At the very least RIM can take as a plus point anything that no one complains about, means it must be working OK.
