Ok so I upgraded to .61 via DM on my Tour last evening and it went flawlessly, I was shocked by how quick and seamless the process was. I should've knocked on wood because my wifes Tour was next; we did the update through DM, it took WAY longer which is okay but after the upgrade the radio WILL NOT turn back on! I went to connections, turned them all off then attempted to turn them back on, I tried to dial a number and let the phone prompt me to restore connections. No luck, it said it failed How can I get her radio to turn back on??? Anyone else experience this issue?

When in doubt, wipe and reload.

You might try logging on to the BIS site on your computer and then RESEND Service Books. Good luck

Weird several battery pulls did nothing was getting ready to wipe & reload and the stupid thing decided to let the radio turn on! It was acting a little buggy; I went to do the *228 deal and when I hit * the dial tone stayed on constant through the call, once the update was complete the call disconnected phone went back to the homescreen and the dial tone continued but through the speaker now! I pulled the battery to maintain what sanity I have left and stop that annoying tone now after the reboot the phone is back to normal. WEIRD. C'mon Verizion if we have to wait so long for 5.0 and are dealing with these incremental "improvements" at least make sure that they will work properly and smoothly.

Just take the jump to .230 now that you are familiar with the upgrading process. I've been running it for 2 months now with zero problems. All the horror stories you've heard are just bad installs. Those people just had to re-install and problem solved. You won't regret getting on 5.0, trust me!

LOL doubt it. I had to wipe my .40 due to a 552 or whatever error and it acted weird vis-a-vis the radio and stuff until it finally decided to work normally.
