Whats the deal with these hybrids? everytime i try to load one i brick my phone. It installs and hangs up on the initial boot. It times out every time telling me that it cannot connect to my device after waiting 30-45 minutes. Is there something special that needs to be done? I am currently sitting here recovering with .230 because of this.

its nothing really special that needs to be done....you do have .230 installed on your computer right?
yaeh see what you do is make sure you have the .230 installed on your computer and on your phone as well, then download and run the hybrids .exe file, when its done the shrink an os screen will come up and remove everything that you dont want up there then hit shrink you os, after that it will tell you how much memory you have, and after that you click on launch loader and from there you should be able to update.
that was my problem, i was uninstalling the os from my computer and then installing the hybrid and trying to load that to my phone. No wonder why i was bricking it. Thanks for the help.

no prob man, are you gonna give the new hyrbid a try? Im updating my phone as we speak.
Have a weird white screen on the phone right now.. A few shapes with a circle around them and a line through it.. And underneath says "Reload Software: 507"
no i just get a white screen error that saying something but it has a reset button but it just does that when i try to restore back everything so my phone just resets but everything installs good i just have to go back and do a manual restore.
