True, but he never said what carrier the new ones out of the box were for. His profile shows that hes with sprint, so you could assume the new tours are sprint also.

I'll believe it when I see a screenshot though :-)

Edit: he just said he's a tech at a sprint store while i was writing this post :-P

I'm not saying your lying. But I will say that my tour will says no updates. Also Sprints website does not list 5.0 as the most current operating software (i just logged in to check). But i feel like the last time i tried to update over the air i couldnt, i had to do it thru desktop manager....??

EDIT: Neither does blackberry's website say the 5.0 is out for the sprint tour....

It started updating but after the backup process it just goes back to the update screen and says there are no updates for your device at this time..
