Sprint released an official OS 5.0 for 9630 users today. However, it was only pushed through DM and NOT available for download via the web. Nags from BBHybrids.net was nice enough to pull the files together and post them for all. There are a couple different .exe's floating around there now but they all do the same thing.

If you have a tour and you want to give the .484 OS a whirl, grab the .exe download HERE --> DRIPHTER 5.0.0.484.exe

If you have a different device and want just the java folder contents check em out HERE --> 5.0.0.484 Java
(NOTE: this java folder does not contain any of the language files)

Simplified it to one link for users. It is true, it is a small build, but it is confirmed to work.

i couldn't find app loader. i have the newest windows btw

Didn't even get to try it....virus protection was enabled and McAfee killed the download. If anyone tries this, let me know how it's working. Thanks

the reason i do believe is that the axl. files are not 484 thats why you have to use the .419 other than that it is a full .484

Its the java folder with a installer. I haven't played with it much, I've been trying to see if I can find a way to add the 3G icon to no avail. I'm adding another link for people that wanna try it.

Tried using the App Loader to install this (it downloaded to PC just fine, thanks) instead of the DM, but it says that it is not compatible with my device. Any suggestions (besides waiting for VZW to catch up)?
