Do you need a subscription for this? I know most content on the website is "preview" oriented.
Nope. Free as can be. If the article turns up in the app, you can read the full article.

Anyone got any real-time quote apps ?
Haven't seen one. The WSJ app like most everything else, should be 15 minutes delayed.

I believe I've read that MarketSimplified gives you real time quotes, but only if you have a TDAmeritrade account. And although someone else here on Crackberry said they had MarketSimplified working on their device, I could not get signed in with it (compatibility mode problems). Without TDAmeritrade, it's a pay program also. So I realize this isn't a *huge* help, sorry!

Sorry to hear you had a problem installing.

Hopefully the dev will be keeping an eye on the thread, but in the meanwhile, go here, select 'WSJ Support' and email the dev from their support page.

Also, try a battery pull and maybe run memory cleaner and try again.

Amazing app. The interface and scrolling are so well implemented that it makes the app a pleasure not a chore to use.

It installed for me and said it was going to bring me through a tutorial. It said press * to continue and # to stop or something like that. So I brought up the keyboard so I could press * and while pressing the symbol button I got a Java exception and the phone shut off (faster than I could read the exception).

I got the same error. I emailed the admin to see what I could to. I'll post the reply when it comes through.

I still havent found a real times quote app. But this one is the nicest that I have tried.

You can get real time quotes on google. Create a portfolio and the prices will be real time.. But it is not an app, you still have to load the page.

Thanks Chris! We used WSJmobilereader on the 8830 and have been waiting for the Storm version. I suspect the WSJ will start charging for this app/feed in the future.

I've been testing this for several days and works great. I got the ok to release the OTA link for v1.1.8 this morning. I'm not sure if he's still considering this a beta (the site still refers to is as 'Testing').

So hit this site from your Storm and grab it:

    http://wsju.mwap.at

It works full screen in both portrait and landscape modes and you can slide your finger across the tabs to go from tab to tab.

    Enjoy!

If you're having trouble, go to Contact | FreeRange, select 'WSJ Support' and email the dev.
Love this app! Thanks for posting. You should definately add to this thread: Blackberry Storm OTA Apps Thread
