I want to withhold my phone number from contacts that aren't in my address book.

You can ask your phone company to block your caller id, then go through your contacts and add a *82 prefix to all of your numbers, it unblocks the caller id

i was confused of how to take my withheld number off at 1st but then i figure it out myself lol,all you need to do is click on the "green answer button",scroll up but below your unknown number where it's blank then click the "menu button" then scroll down to "options" and then "general options" then scroll down to "Restrict My Identity" instead of "Always" change it to "Never"...That does do the trick

You can also prefix all calls to non-contacts with *67
