I am using the method for WiFi when charging, and have no problems with it. The WiFi icon pops up immediately, and connects to the programmed networks. Great app!

i still can't get the address to work... i type in ftp://192.168.0.10/
and my IE browers come up as Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage..
i am using a router so i don't know if that would effect the webpage or axcess??

Just tried to download but iam getting, the protocol specified is not supported by the handheld. Please try a different url? Iam using 9700

Hmm, app still has not learned any cell locations... I've turned wifi on and connected to hotspots, as well as made phonecalls. Still zero locations...

No, router will not effect ftp protocol. can you post some snapshots about your browser and wifihero?

heres what my browser says

wifihero looks normal.. has the "please type ftp:// in ur windows address bar
then it says localaddr: 192.168.0.10

Installed and works great with one problem that I have noticed.

When searching for networks, the app turns the Wi-Fi off halfway through. I would have to turn the Wi-Fi back on again to finish searching.

I have no other bugs to report. At first my wifi would not turn on when I reached within the wifi range but that problem seems to have gone away. "Location based", "when screen turns on", and "when charge" are all working as they should.

Did not get a PM, The beta version I have been testing is 1.6. Not able to connect with cell.
