It's really bugging me that we still can't facebook chat. I realize there is this one application that allows you to do so but it's priced at an outrageous price of $39.99.
Has anyone heard any word of any official app's that allows you to FB chat?
Been using Palringo but after using the other BB IM clients it's a bit awkward to use sometimes. Plus the font and that BEEP!! message alert gives me a goddamn headache. I dont know why RIM hasn't built a stand alone FB chat app or integrated chat with a BB FB app.
um ya bbm should have availability to sign into facebook chat, AIM, msn, gchat, etc....similar to haw the sms prog on the Palm Pre does aim and gchat....but ill take threaded sms for now....
Better question is... why does facebook on BB still sucks?
lol K thought I was the only :S. Ya not too fond of it but w.e. I can live with it for now. One major problem I noticed is if I upload pics and try n tag them it cant find my friends .
I don't know why people say the facebook app sucks. I've used the facebook app for the iphone/itouch and the BB one is much better IMHO.
no way man. the BB one sucks.
the iphone app has such a better layout, interface and much easier to navigate. also has more uses. ive only been using my BB fb for status updates really. I do like how it integrated itself into my contacts for pictures, etc. And being able to call contacts straight from FB is cool, too. But overall, the app needs a major overhaul.
I use the beta version of Beejive...it's rather pricey at $19.99 for a device license or $29.99 for a user license but there is a free trial. You need version 1.1.2. Beejive is an IM service that supports all major platforms and is similar to Parlingo or Instango, which are free, but Beejive is MUCH better. You should check it out.

I don't see FB as one of the options you can configure. Am I missing something
I didn't know people used facebook chat that much. Its a rather horrible chat interface, and only works half the time. Then again, I find myself using facebook less and less every week ... that makes me feel old haha
