What's the reason behind leaving app permissions and icon placement info behind when you uninstall an app?

To take up space? Because it doesn't take that long to answer a few questions to set permissions on a reinstall.

Also, why is it when I delete "Prompt Exceptions" the app that had them doesn't seem to ask about them again upon running those apps? Even if I delete the app and clear the Permissions Database, I don't get prompts for them ever again. Does deleting them under permissions NOT Really delete them? WTF?

    Agreed.
I've always wondered about the icon placement info after uninstalling an app. I tried to find where this info was "saved" as I figured it would take up at least a few hundred bytes to a KB of app memory but couldn't find where this info was stored.

    Thanks for another great post.

Icon placement can be reset via Theme default reset now, but it kills all the icon placements. It should just pull it off on uninstall. It's stupid that it doesn't.
