I just got Opera Mini yesterday at work... Went home to show it off to the roommate, and bam! It does nothing but pop up an error message about not being able to connect to the internet. I did the battery pull, enabled javascript on my phone, cleared out some memoury.... What can I do??

( Chaz: I await your helpful advice, as usual!! )

Those settings will only work for T-Mobile USA customers. Verizon requires no APN settings.

Are you sure that you are getting 1XEV (yes it must be uppercase) or whatever it is for CDMA carriers?

You probably need to edit the permissions for it to connect.

    Hi,
I'm using opera mini on a sprint network 8703E.....I must either not have the correct settings,as I miss what all the fuss is about how great this browser is.
in opera it asks whether i should use HTTP or Socket...anyone know, also what tweaks do i need to make on the 8703e.
    many thank
