    Hi,

    Can any1 suggest, why we require battery pull for increasing the memory space in OS 6?

    I m using blackberry bold 9700.

    Doesn't Matter
    Because the OS on it doesn't manage memory well and it "leaks" and doesn't get recovered. So the only way to get it back is to restart the system.

    So, it means that we have to reboot the system on a regular interval.

    On a 9700, I would pull the battery or soft reset it pressing alt, right shift, and delete every night before putting it on the charger.
