I tried searching App World, Google, CrackBerry WAP site for a Dictionary and Wikipedia application for BlackBerry.
I found a link for one, but it was from 2008.

You may alread know this or be looking for ICONS that run those apps but in the BB Browser for us "lucky" folks who have Verizon, you can change the search engine from bing to either one of those as the Default search engine. We just are NOT allowed to use google!!!!

Thanks for the tip, but I would really like it if I can find the actual applications that don't render through the browser. I downloaded them back when I had my Curve. I removed them because my Curve was running low on the amount of memory for applications. Now that I have the 9650 with plenty of memory, I can't find the applications. The apps had a few more features that weren't available in the mobile browser version.

Also, using the search in the browser does not take me to the mobile version of Wikipedia. Therefore the resulting pages takes longer to load.

App World will not allow me to download it. It says it's not available for my device.

I have those. They just utilize the browser. I'm looking for the actual application.

Sorry. You're correct. I didn't pay attention to your other post.
I wish I had a solution for you, especially for the Appworld download.
At least you would have something.

    All the best. Good luck.

Nice find! The last time I spoke to the developers a few weeks ago they never updated their own direct link to v1.1. They still had 1.0.26 (with the auto-start), and the latest version could only be found in Appworld.

    Thanks for the download link.
This application loads search results so much faster than using the browser. I also like that I can simply press "S" on my keypad to quickly jump to the search bar.

All I need now is the Wikipedia app and I'll be set.

I came across that earlier when I searched on Google.
I wasn't sure if it was the most recent version because it's dated back to 2008.
It also said that it's for OS 2, 3, & 4. On that same page someone posted that it didn't work on their 8900. Since it didn't state that it worked for OS 5.0 I decided not to download it.
