My BlackBerry froze, so I did a battery pull. Now WhatsApp says "No Media Card Found". Is there a way to fix this without having to delete/rename the database file?

Go into whatsapp settings and make sure under message history it is saved on device. If that doesn't help, just delete the app and re-install mate

Tried that, didn't help. I can rename the database file, and the app will make a new one, but that removes my previous history.

This 'media card not found' happened to me today for the very first time and i've been using WhatsApp for a month now without a problem or ever seeing that message. I'm thinking its an app problem and will wait it out a couple of days and see if it corrects itself. I will try changing the settings also.
