I use a BB 8310 without Internet Service. Was hoping if anyone could let me know any link where i could get whatsapp for 8310. Please don't say appworld cuz it doesn't operate in pakistan so i need a leaked version or something. also from where and how do i upgrade my OS to 5.0, i have 4.5 now but i want a better one. would appreciate it if somebody could reply asap. Thanks
You can download whatsapp from whatsapp.com/ota but your gonna need to have internet of some kind to use it, dont think the 8310 can have os 5 on max is 4.6 it thing
You can only have OS 4.5 on your 8310. Which means that you can only have version 2.7.7151 of Whatsapp in your device, because the next version of Whatsapp requires OS 4.6 or older.
In other words, you are stuck like I am. If you find somewhere where you can download the application (via ota, wap or desktop manager) let me know.
First Set your APN setting according to your service provider
Secondly go to Option - Device - Application Management
Third Search for WhatsApp
Click BB button and select edit permission
Set Connection to Custom
Save it your BB device will reboot
Once it is rebooted check your WhatsApp it will work!! like charm
