this is probably really nerdy :D, but I wish BB had the BillMinder app that iPhone has.
Description: "Never pay another late fee! BillMinder simplifies your life by bringing all your bills into one manageable place. You will know at a glance which bills need your attention. You can also track your expenses with comprehensive charts and graphs."
I think it would be really cool, seeing that it integrates with your calendar and sends reminders.

oh yeah, and of course Words With Friends!!
pdf editor / annotator so we can write on a pdf and save it as a pdf. Does not need to be a pure editor.
1) Google+
2) Gmail (To make a return).
3) Kroger app
4) Words With Friends
5) Lowe's Home Improvement app
there arent really any apps in particular... my PB was bought primarily for web browsing, which it does very, very well.
the only things id want are netflix and skype. but thats not really in the hands of developers/RIM/BB community anyhow... besides there are many alternatives to skype, free ones at that. netflix is the only paid subscription that i dont have an alternative for PB
For the playbook:
I would like to see 'light' versions of Adobe products (they have some kind of partnership right?)
A 'light' version of Mathematica
Easy to use print functions in OS2
Upgraded software for the camera - Ex. better close-up shots
A 'light' version of Microsoft Office...
i would love to see heytell on my 9930!!! one of the best apps for android and apple right now. pleasee create heytell?!! i can not imagine it being very difficult to complete
Off to top of my head I can think I'd like
Teamviewer
A proper Dropbox app (with full upload and download)
Sky+ app
Adobe reader
Seesmic
Wi-Fi analyser
And I'd like the official Facebook app to actually be able t handle and process inbox messages correctly.
Hi,
There is a Sky+ app out there already. Its not new but it works. I've managed to get the old Sky Mobile (OS5) app working on my 9900. I'm pretty sure there's a link somewhere in this very thread. A search might do the trick.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.
Mav.
Personally I'd like a profile changer that ACTUALLY works!
What's so frustrating is that I had this sort of thing working years ago when I used to use Nokia phones - that's at least five years ago - probably more!
The two other apps I'd love would be BB versions of (i) ThoughtManager - a super enhanced list manager - and (ii) Pocket Quicken both brilliant programs that I had on my palm pilot back in the day! I still use both the desktop versions now!
Calgary Transit App to check when is our slow moving buses and trains are coming. But then again, their iPhone app also sucks.
A good app that have information on physics, chemistry and biology... Like an encyclopedia. I know there are app like that for Apple iPhone and Android because I saw people using it around the school.
My dream app right now would be a BB version of a PIM management app called 2Day. I used to have it on my Palm Centro, and it was awesome! It was from ShSh Software. Unfortunately, I've spoken to the dev, and he said he's not interested in making his apps available for BB. :(

Thanks for that. I had the app working on my 9700 but I've never managed to get it working on my 9800. I even had it running under OS6 on my 9700 so it must be the touch screen UI of the Torch that stops it working.
Annoying as the iPhone and Android apps are both good and both work!
