Is there a weather app out there that will check your current location by your GPS to give you weather information?

I personally do not know of any. Are you aware VZW disabled GPS on the 8130 except for use with VZ Navigator? The weather app you're questioning could not access GPS on the VZW 8130 unless you had a BT GPS puck.

there is a free weather app loaded on the vzw browser...the link is for accuweather which is fine...but does not run on gps...you just enter your zip code.

If i dont use that I use weather.com from the browser and do the same thing (zip code or city/state)

both are as accurate as anything out there...

Viigo has some weather RSS Feeds but you have to choose your location....

Alternatively you could strap a Barometer to your BB
